Position the stock in the bag grommet . Do not lubricate the stock or the grommet as it is not required and may damage the specially formulated composition of flexible grommet. Oils and greases will damage the sealing membrane of all synthetic pipe bags if allowed to contact the fabric. Should for some unforeseen circumstance, a lubricant is required, use a soap solution only.

Place the cable tie (supplied) over the grommet in a position above the welt groove of the stock and pull tight. Ensure that the cable tie has pulled the grommet into the welt groove. Cut the cable tie off as close as possible to the cable tie catch making sure that no sharp instrument comes into contact with the bagpipe bag fabric and thereby causing a puncture

Place the rubber sleeve over the cable tie as shown in the picture.


Alternative method useing stainless steel clamps

Locate the stock in the desired position in the grommet. Do not lubricate the stock or the grommet as it is not required and may damage the specially formulated composition of the flexible grommet. Should for some unforeseen circumstance a lubricant is required, use a soap solution.
Place the hose clamp (supplied) over bag grommet and lightly tighten. Do not over tighten as this will damage the flexible grommet.

Place the rubber sleeve over the hose clamp as shown in the picture. This will help avoid any damage to your pipe bag cover should there be any sharp edges on the clamp.
