Monarch Bagpipe Bag tie in with cable ties

Position the stock in the bag grommet . Do not lubricate the stock or
the grommet as it is not required and may damage the specially
formulated composition of flexible grommet. Oils and greases will
damage the sealing membrane of all synthetic pipe bags if allowed to
contact the fabric. Should for some unforeseen circumstance, a
lubricant is required, use a soap solution only.
Place the cable tie (supplied) over
the grommet in a position above the welt groove of the stock and pull
tight. Ensure that the cable tie has pulled the grommet into the welt
groove. Cut the cable tie off as close as possible to the cable tie
catch making sure that no sharp instrument comes into contact with the
bagpipe bag fabric and thereby causing a puncture
Place the rubber sleeve over the cable tie as shown in the picture.
Alternative method useing stainless steel clamps
Locate the stock in the desired
position in the grommet. Do not lubricate the stock or the grommet as
it is not required and may damage the specially formulated composition
of the flexible grommet. Should for some unforeseen circumstance a
lubricant is required, use a soap solution.
Place the hose clamp (supplied) over bag grommet and lightly tighten.
Do not over tighten as this will damage the flexible grommet.
Place the rubber sleeve over the hose
clamp as shown in the picture. This will help avoid any damage to your
pipe bag cover should there be any sharp edges on the clamp.
