Chanter stock tie in procedure

Place the 3mm neoprene tape (supplied) sticky side down around the chanter stock just below the welt groove.

Position the chanter stock in the desired location in the neck of the bag and secure its position with the rubber band (supplied)

Place two rubber sleeves (supplied) over the neck of the bag as shown in the picture.

Place hose clamp (supplied) over the rubber sleeves and tighten. Do not over tighten the clamp at first and retighten again in 15 minuets. This allows time for the neoprene seal and rubber sleeves to compress into the folds of the bag fabric and therefore giving a better air tight seal.

Place a rubber sleeve over the hose clamp as shown in the picture.

Should you wish to tie the chanter stock in the conventional way with a cord, place the neoprene seal sticky side down in the welt groove and proceed to tie in.
